The Steel Man is set to become the largest sculpture in the UK standing 32 meters tall. It will act as a beacon for Yorkshire and a catalyst for change. The sculpture will have a spacious viewing platform withlift access. The design process started at a much smaller scale by producing a maquette from masking tape. This model was then 3D scanned allowing us to design the final metal form around it and then develop the substructure. We have completed designs for a 3 meter steel test piece to be built and shown around the UK. With this being such a large project, we are currently waiting for the nextsteps in planning to procced in helping design the full-size sculpture.
